Listing: 1850s. An interesting survival of a public house in a complete group of railway buildings.

Comment: Although not not easy of access nor in a residential area, this pub remains extremely popular. Inside it has a great collection of railwayana. To the right it has a large modern extension and a good car park. Just visible to the left of the picture is the wall which has below it a pavement made of blue engineering bricks, known as the Blue Path - which ought to be listed but isn't. The old Great Western Low Level Station is just to the left of the picture.
