additions.
Comment: The fact that this house lies in a
roadway off Mill Lane, which seems to have suffered from re-numbering,
means that it is not immediately apparent which house is listed.
But this is the house which appears as No.51 in the listing.
The area around this house was almost entirely
agricultural until the second half of the 20th century, and so this
house was most probably associated with farming. It seems to be
one of the earliest on this road, pre-dating the cottage between it and
Mill Lane.
