Wolverhampton's
Blue Plaques

Wolverhampton's blue and white commemorative plaques, were until recently, almost entirely the work of Rudi Herbert, under the aegis of the Wolverhampton Civic Society. The first plaque was erected in 1983. They commemorate people, places and events of importance in the history of the City. Details of the plaques are included here thanks to the kind permission of Rudi Herbert. The plaques listed, are the ones erected up until 2005. Later ones may be added in the future.
