In 1929 the Wolverhampton Industrial Development Association published a Wolverhampton Official Guide which included articles about Wolverhampton, a description of Wolverhampton, a brief history, details of public buildings, parks, libraries, the technical college, and hospitals etc. There were also sections on local industries and company adverts. I have included a selection from the guide, which was published to raise people's awareness of the town and to attract visitors and industries.
