Most of the more successful groups
had a very hectic schedule of playing or rehearsing most
nights during the 60's. In the majority of cases those
engagements would be relatively local, although as a
group gained in popularity and received greater exposure
the location of gigs would move much further afield.
Roger Bromley who was the lead guitarist with Dane
Tempest & Atoms and the Soul Seekers has provided a
diary of engagements for the Atoms from 1963, as
